Memorial Day Weekend

While it rained for the 1st half of the Memorial Day weekend, we managed to have some family fun indoors and out! Not much was captured in pictures, but here's a quick recap: planted some annuals, visited several "flower jungles", jumped around in Jungle Java, and enjoyed a great BBQ of ribs, ribs, and more ribs with the Sokoloskis and the Yangs.

Victoria Day Long Weekend

Canada's Victoria Day long weekend was celebrated with The Wangs and the Spangaros. With the extremely favorable USD:CAD exchange rate, we accomplished a lot of shopping. It was power shopping Saturday for all and electronic Sunday for some :)

Daniel, Eleanor, and I did manage to squeeze some silly fun in between all the shopping. Thanks for the visit everyone, we hope to see you again soon.

Mother's Day at the Park

To celebrate Mother's Day, we headed to Kensington Metro Park for a picnic and an afternoon of fun. We enjoyed a simple picnic at the park and watched some people looking to hook a big fish. Afterwards, we went to the slides, checked out the way things were done at the farm in the old days, and for the 1st time ever, milked April (a cow!).

Finally, we headed home to wrap the day up with some tasty cheeseburgers at home.

Even on her special day, mommy made sure that I had a great time. You're the BEST mommy in the world. I LOVE YOU, MOMMY!!! Thank you for everything you've done for me.
